OUR STORY
Congo Solidario was founded by Mr. Madimba J. Tshibuabua. After completing his undergraduate studies under poverty conditions in the Congo, he volunteered to several charitable organisations to help poor children. He was granted a scholarship by the Spanish Government to complete his graduate studies in Madrid, Spain. His dedication to help his people back home was acknowledged by a charitable Spanish organization. He was congratulated by the King of Spain, Juan Carlos II. After coming to Canada, he worked with several government agencies. Through his community work with Congo Solidario, he was awarded the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee, a medal to honor outstanding citizens that make significant contributions to Canada. Madimba is a Certified Teacher and Registered Social Services Worker in Ontario Canada.

Madimba is a true reflection of the grease in between that connects needs and consequently make a community work. The special contribution made by Madimba Tshibuabua recognised his and Congo Solidario’s efforts to help with educational efforts in the Congo while bridging the integration of recent Congolese arrivals into the larger Canadian mosaic.
